5-70
(To tell apart from 60 the nubs that are little squares are 3 on one side and 4 on the other side, they add up to 7)
Weight: 6.6g
Design: 5-70 is a ratchet that has 5 sides and a tall height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 5 somewhat wide points.
Strengths:
Stamina: Generally, due to its shape and its OWD (outward weight distribution), it can have greater stamina than other ratchets, giving Beyblades more balance.
Defense: Due to being 5 sided and thick, this ratchet has some of the best defense out of all the ratchets and only really is worse than 9 sides due to how 9 sides is exposed.
Middle Height: In this unique height range, similar combinations to those of 60 can be run and potentially beat them by being taller to stabilize them. This has to be very generalized, but one should experiment with this height and see what benefits it can reap.
Weakness:
Tall Height: Similar to that of 80 but slightly less of an issue, the taller you are the easier of a target you are to hit the exposed ratchet, since 70 is the middle height right now, this is basically worse than 60 but better than 80.
Overall
5-70 has good burst resistance and solid stamina and defence; if one is creating combinations on the tall height, it is highly preferred over the 3-70 or even 4-70. It is highly recommended that this ratchet be used, and it is a must-have for bladers. However, in general, like with any ratchets, one should balance tune and see if it works best on a specific combination.
