Hells Chain 5-60HT
BX-21
Weight: 33.2 (LOW END) - 33.9g (HIGH END)
Design: Hells Chain is a 5 sided balance type blade with lower and upper layered blades.
Attack VS Attack (AVA): If used on 9-60/5-60 Point HellsChain is a monster to any attacker it can basically be used to shut down a lot of strong attackers and outspin in battle.
Attack VS Stamina: If used on 9-60/5-60 Point HellsChain can deflect and destablize and do a decent enough job to win.
Stamina VS Attack: HellsChain is decently tanky to anything attack when used on anything stamina it is able to live well enough.
Defence VS Attack: HellsChain is decent to be used on Defense combos it can destablize opponents or use counter defense to force opponents to tire out and win via recoil management.
Strengths:
Stamina: HellsChain has comparable stamina to that of HellsScythe making it solid for general stamina use.
Chain Deflection: HellsChain has proper recoil management or Counter Defense where it uses recoil to bully other beys to tire them out and outspin them or KO other blades.
Weaknesses:
Gap: HellsChain like any Beyblade with a gap is more susceptible to a Burst, it is preferred
to use HellsChain on a low height ratchet.
Overall: Due to its shape, this is a must-have for any collector. It is an extremely good attacker. It also has good use in stamina combinations to destabilize opponents and out-spin them. It is possible to even use a Chain for solid defense combinations, making the blade multi-purpose.
Gameplan: On setups with low height on any aggressive bit that can get speed, like Flat, Point Taper, you must hard launch and aim to defeat your opponent quickly.
Combos:
Attack: HellsChain 9-60/5-60/ Point/Taper
Stamina: HellsChain 9-60/5-60/ Ball/Orb/GearBall
Defense: HellsChain 9-60 / 5-60 Needle/HighNeedle
Weight: 6.6g
Design: 5-60 is a ratchet that has 5 sides and a low height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 5 somewhat wide points.
Strengths:
Stamina: Generally due to the shape and its OWD (outwards weight distribution) it can have greater stamina than other ratchets giving Beyblades more balance.
Defense: Due to being 5 sided and thick, this ratchet has some of the best defense out of all the ratchets and only really is worse than 9 sides due to how 9 sides is exposed.
Low Height: It is one of the lowest height ratchets, making it a great use for attack combinations or other low height setups depending on context.
Weight: 2.2g
Design: HighTaper is a Bit that features high Burst resistance and features a semi flat with a indent on the bottom and a taller height than regular Taper.
Strengths:
Great mixed stamina and attack bit for Beyblade X: The HighTaper Bit is similar to Flat where the design of this Bit is a semi flat. So while it is still able to be used for attack getting that aggressive movement, you have greatly improved stamina compared to regular flat.
Uses the Xtreme Dash gimmick easily: The Bit works well with the Xtreme Dash performance tip, allowing for high speed and KO potential.
Able to pick up somewhat strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving somewhat high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: Due to being a Bit with a 80 Stats in Burst resistance this makes this bit great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Worse Stamina than regular Taper: HighTaper more or less has the same use as Taper due to the fact it has a higher center of gravity forcing it to be more aggressive.
Mixed attack potential: Taper can have the reverse issue of Flat, while Flat can kinda fail for stamina performance, Taper can kinda fail for attack performance. It requires a good shoot to make it get to very similar performance to Flat when Blader is optimizing for shoot. This is both a pro and a con, you get the benefit of more controlled stamina but less use of pure attack.
Vulnerability to self-KO: If the Bit is hard-launched and catches the stadium path, it can self-KO, which is a potential weakness. Control and technique are important when using this Bit.
Gameplan:
Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
Overall
Hells Chain has strong stamina, attack and some defense properties, it is very close to HellScythe in general use but is more used for attack or balance combos rather than stamina. With 5-60 and High Taper you get very solid parts to use in balance combos, while the stock combo is not that crazy all the parts have great separate use.
