Cobalt Drake
The Rapper?
Weight: 36.8g (LOW END) - 37.4g (HIGH END)
Design: four-sided blade design with smooth but aggressive contact points.
Attack Versus Attack Performance: Cobalt Drake does alright in Attack VS Attack since it has a blocky shape you can sometimes deflect opponents and outlast them to the end game but other attack options are more consistent.
Attack VS Defense And Stamina: Cobalt Drake has a shape that is not too aggressive in shape it does alright for the hits that it can do and is fine against defense and stamina types.
Cobalt Drake On Stamina/Defense: Due to Cobalt Drake's round shape it is best mostly on defense combinations since it can work well to deflect opponents.
Strengths:
Shape: Despite being an attack type Cobalt's Drake shape is decent for an attack type giving it above average stamina you'd see for this type.
Smash Attack: Cobalt Drake is not really too too explosive against the current meta of BEYBLADE X as of March 2025, but it has the ability to shove opponents where it has decent smash attack.
Weaknesses:
Stamina: Drake is a top heavy blade meaning that all the weight is focus on the top causing the end game stamina to potentially topple over and fall down.
Gap: Like any blade that has this design flaw Drake is slightly exposed making it a potential weakness if not optimized correctly.
Gameplan: Drake is preferred to be used for low height, stamina, defense and PRIMARY attack combos for your setups.
Combos:
Attack: CobaltDrake 3-60/5-60/9-60/7-60/1-60 Flat/Low Flat/Point/Taper/Rush/Low Rush
Defense: CobaltDrake 3-60/5-60/4-60/9-60/7-60 Needle/HighNeedle/Under Needle/Hexa
Overall
Cobalt Drake is a blade that has not aged the greatest while it is fine for attack or defense combinations it is not a must have if one is trying obtain it.
