Hells Scythe 4-80LF
BX-14 04
Weight: 32.7 (LOW END) 32.9g (HIGH END)
Blade Design: Hells Scythe is a balance-type blade that features 4 blades that curve upwards.
What Can It Do?: Hells Scythe delivers a strong smash attack and can deliver some strong hits.
Jack Of All Trades: Hells Scythe is a jack of all trades who it can seemingly do everything, feeling very close to just being a pure balance type.
Attack VS Attack: For Attack, Hells Scythe can deliver somewhat good hits; depending on the user, this can either go really well or bad. For the most part it can use some of its recoil and stamina to outlast opponents specifically on setups that use Taper/Point (Balance Bits).
Attack vs. Stamina/Defense: This is where it really is gonna depend on the user because there are times it can just do poor if used on setups like Flat (not being consistent) if you use Taper or Point you can do OK.
Stamina Use: Hells Scythe can be used for stamina as while its stamina is not the highest since it has a round enough shape but is still aggressive, Hells Scythe uses its aggressive recoil to bully out other blades in a stamina matchup.
Defence Use: For Defense, Hells Scythe has strong counterattack recoil potential as it can use heavy recoil to tire out attack types while still having enough stamina to live.
Strengths:
Versatility: If optimized right, Hells Scythe can be used for almost anything and do well on it, depending on blader launch style and skill.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistency: Pretty much the same said for strengths, very inconsistent blade, but when used right, it is extremely good.
Gameplan: Hells Scythe truly is a confusing blade; depending on how you angle and strength you can either have this working very well or failing quite a bit. It is recommended to be used with some tilt.
Weight: 7g
Design: 4-80 is a ratchet that has 4 sides and a tall height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 4 small points.
No real difference in consistent stamina: There doesn't seem to be a significant difference in stamina performance between the other sides of 3, 4, 5, 9 etc... However one should balance tune or try to test on a case-by-case basis before deciding what to use.
Strengths:
General Stamina: Generally 4 sided ratchets seem to have promising enough stamina.
Tightness: Aside from random quality control issues the tightness is usually pretty high on 4-80, similar to other tall height ratchets.
Weakness:
Four sides with smaller hit points: The Ratchet has four sides with small square contact points compared to a three-sided design. Despite having smaller hit points than three sides it actually makes it easier to hit since it is not as rounded off meshed onto the ratchet.
Tall Height: It is one of the tallest height ratchets, not only that but since the 4 points are easier to Burst than 3 sides you are extremely vulnerable to losing via burst.
Weight: 2.1g
Design: LowFlat is 1mm shorter compared to the regular flat and doesn't have the hole in the middle that the regular flat does, with all those factors it is able to be a bit faster in movement compared to regular flat and not nearly have as much stamina.
Strengths:
Great attack bit for Beyblade X: The Flat Bit is well-suited for aggressive playstyles and can be effective in offensive strategies.
Uses the Xtreme Dash gimmick easily: The Bit works well with the Xtreme Dash performance tip, allowing for high speed and KO potential.
Able to pick up strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: Due to being a Bit with a 80 Stats in Burst resistance this makes this bit great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Low stamina: The Bit may not be ideal for battles that require endurance, as it lacks stamina. Stamina is important for outlasting opponents in long battles. In the context of a battle if you get your hits at the start and don't miss you have nothing to worry about. It is basically the same issue with flat just even more.
Vulnerability to self-KO: If the Bit is hard-launched and catches the stadium path, it can self-KO, which is a potential weakness. Control and technique are important when using this Bit. Due to also being super fast now because of the modified design this is even more of an issue.
Gameplan:
Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
With Low Flat: It has a lot of speed and power but stamina won't be there since it does have a slight advantage.
Overall
This setup is just not good you get this weird 70 height and it cannot hit anything well, don't waste time with the stock combo, the release is good for the blade and the bit.
