Aero Pegasus 3-70A
UX-00
Weight: 37.9g (LOW END) - 38.3g (HIGH END)
Design: Aero Pegasus features a three-sided blade with smooth and wide contact points.
Attack Potential: Capable of both upper attack (launching Beyblades into the air) and smash attack (knocking Beyblades into pockets). Aero Pegasus leans more towards a pure smash attack, primarily launching Beyblades forward. However, due to the slight curves on its wings, if launched at a certain angle, it can lift blades into the air, potentially causing a Bit release and a Burst.
Attack VS Attack performance: In an attack vs. attack (AVA) matchup, Aero Pegasus has a significant advantage due to its wide and heavy design. It can compete with top attack blades while still maintaining end-game stamina if launched with sufficient strength.
Attack VS Defense/Stamina: Aero Pegasus excels against most defense or stamina builds with its strong smash attack and slight upper attack. However, a strong launch is essential to maintain its end-game stamina.
Aero Pegasus on Stamina/Defense: Aero is preferred at low heights due to a gap that makes it prone to bursts at taller heights. It generally offers strong defense and stamina but requires a good launch to be effective.
Strengths:
Weight: The heavy weight of Aero Pegasus makes it a top contender against most blades, and its shape further enhances its performance.
Versatility: Aero can be effectively used in almost any combination due to its advantageous weight and shape.
Weaknesses:
Gap: Like many Beyblades with a gap, Aero Pegasus is susceptible to being exploited by other blades, leading to bursts.
Low Stamina: While slow but aggressive, it requires a strong launch to maintain enough momentum for the endgame.
Top-Heavy: Due to its design, this Beyblade naturally tends to fall as the battle nears its end, influenced by its weight distribution.
Overall: Aero Pegasus, with its blend of defense, stamina, and attack, is one of the fiercest blades in Beyblade X. It competes well with top contenders like Wizard Rod in stamina and Dran Buster in attack. However, the parts 3-70 and Accel are underwhelming, limiting its full potential. Aero Pegasus is a must-have for any blader who can acquire it and use it effectively in events.
Gameplan: Aero works on really most setups you would typically use for atttack/stamina/defense combinations.
Combos:
Attack: Aero Pegasus 5-60/9-60/3-60 Cyclone/Rush/Taper/Point
Stamina: Aero Pegasus 5-60/3-60/9-60 Ball / Orb
Defense: Aero Pegasus 5-70 Hexa
Weight: 6.4g
Design: 3-70 is a ratchet with three sides and a tall height. The contact areas are three wide points.
Consistent stamina is the same: You would need to balance tune to see if it matters compared to other sides, like 5 sides or etc.. This is up to Blader since it is a case-by-case basis.
Strengths:
Three sides with wider hit points: The Ratchet has wider contact points than a four-sided design. Although it is wider and should be easier to hit, three sides make less contact to cause a burst since they are more rounded off.
Middle Height: In this unique height range, similar combinations to those of 60 can be run and potentially beat them by being taller to stabilize them. This has to be very generalized, but one should experiment with this height and see what benefits it can reap.
Weakness:
Tall Height: Similar to that of 80 but slightly less of an issue, the taller you are the easier of a target you are to hit the exposed ratchet, since 70 is the middle height right now, this is worse than 60 but better than 80.
Weight: 2.6g
Design: Accel is a bit that has a flat bottom with an indent on there, and features a stat of 80 for high Burst resistance. Accel has a total of 16 gears to allow it to accelerate more on the Xtreme Rails.
Strengths:
Decent attack bit for Beyblade X: Accel is an ok attack bit meant to be specifically used on attack blades, being a slightly more inconsistent flat.
Focused On Xtreme Dash gimmick: The Bit is somewhat consistent with the Xtreme Dash to be able to pick up high speeds and KO
Able to pick up strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: Due to being a Bit with a 80 Stats in Burst resistance this makes this bit great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent path followed: Accel has the issue where it can't like follow the path properly sometimes and it bounces around the Xtreme Rail in some battles.
Vulnerability to self-KO: If the Bit is hard-launched and catches the stadium path, it can self-KO, which is a potential weakness. Control and technique are important when using this Bit.
Gameplan:
Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
Generally with Accel: You can do either hard shoot flat launch or try to tilt and win the match, the stamina with accel is OK but it is generally preferred to try to flat launch with the bit if you want to maximize the capabilities.
Overall
Aero Pegasus, with its blend of defense, stamina, and attack, is one of the fiercest blades in Beyblade X. It competes well with top contenders like Wizard Rod in stamina and Dran Buster in attack. However, the parts 3-70 and Accel are underwhelming, limiting its full potential. Aero Pegasus is a must-have for any blader who can acquire it and use it effectively in events.
