Wyvern Gale 2-60S

UX-07

Blade: Wyvern Gale

Weight: 31.9 (LOW END) - 32.2g (HIGH END)

Design: Wyvern Gale is a four-sided blade with a smooth surface and sharp edges.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Gameplan: On setups with low height on any aggressive bit that can get speed, like Flat Taper, you must hard launch and aim to defeat your opponent quickly.

Combos:

Attack: Wyvern Gale 9-60/5-60/3-60 Rush/Taper

Stamina: Wyvern Gale 9-60/5-60/ Ball/Orb/Glide

Defense: Wyvern Gale 9-60 / 5-60 Needle/HighNeedle

Overall: Wyvern Gale is a blade that excels in stamina, rivaling top contenders like HellsScythe and WizardArrow. Its design includes gaps that create recoil, which can destabilize opponents or lead to Bursts and KOs. This versatility makes Wyvern Gale effective in both defense and attack combinations. While it has been outclassed by newer blades such as Wizard Rod for stamina and other blades for attack, it leands to be a welcome addition to anyones collection.

Ratchet: 2-60

Weight: 6.2g

Strengths:

Weakness:

Overall: While there may be some situational benefits, you're better off using other 60-height ratchets like 3, 4, 5, or 9 sides for competitive play. This ratchet is better suited for collection rather than competitive use.

Bit: Spike

Weight:

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Gameplan:

Overall: Spike is the worst Bit they have ever done for defense, it is so bad that there is quite literally nothing that can seriously be recommended, this tip is not to be used at all, leave it in the bin. While one could argue that there are combos that could work to its nature it feels like a waste, if you really did want to use this bit, you would have to use it on setups that you would use Needle on.

Overall

While the reprint of 2-60 is appreciated, the parts included are not very viable, and the stock combination is prone to bursts and KOs. Wyvern is suitable for stamina use but suffers from burst risk and easy KOs, making it more of a collector's item.
