Blade: Dran Buster

Weight: 36.5g (LOW END) - 37.0g (HIGH END)

• Design: Dran Buster is an oval-shaped blade primarily focused on a massive point of contact. 

•  Attack VS Attack performance: In an attack vs. attack (AVA) matchup, it becomes a giant impact battle with generally Dran Buster having a bit of an edge. 

• Attack VS Defense/Stamina: With one hard launch, Dran Buster is capable of obliterating opponents, sending them to the Xtreme Zone or the Over Zone. Its consistency relies on the user's launch strength. 

Strengths:

• ONE HIT KO: Dran Buster is focused on the gimmick due to the shape of One Hit KO, which can deliver a massively powerful attack.

Weaknesses:

• Low Stamina: Due to its very aggressive and unbalanced nature, Dran Buster requires to be launched at a very high RPM to be consistent; otherwise, you will suffer greatly in stamina. Beyond that, its general stamina is not high. It is the purest form of an attack type.

• Top Heavy: Due to the shape and design, this Beyblade will naturally, as the battle gets closer to the end, fall down because of where the weight is distributed.  

• Negative Recoil: This blade can suffer from the issue that the recoil generated can be used against itself, leading it to be hurled around the stadium, where one of its greatest assets could be a weakness.

• Glass Cannon: While it hits extremely hard, it also has no stamina, making it vulnerable if it doesn’t win early.

Gameplan: On setups with low height on any aggressive bit that can get speed, like Taper or Low Flat, you must hard launch and aim to defeat your opponent quickly. 

Combos:

Attack: Dran Buster 1-60/5-60/7-60 T/LF/P/F/R/LR

Ratchet: 3-70

Weight: 6.4g

• Design: 3-70 is a ratchet with three sides and a tall height. The contact areas are three wide points.

• Consistent stamina is the same: You would need to balance tune to see if it matters compared to other sides, like 5 sides or etc.. This is up to Blader since it is a case-by-case basis.   

Strengths: 

• Three sides with wider hit points: The Ratchet has wider contact points than a four-sided design. Although it is wider and should be easier to hit, three sides make less contact to cause a burst since they are more rounded off. 

• Middle Height: In this unique height range, similar combinations to those of 60 can be run and potentially beat them by being taller to stabilize them. This has to be very generalized, but one should experiment with this height and see what benefits it can reap. 

Weakness:

• Tall Height: Similar to that of 80 but slightly less of an issue, the taller you are the easier of a target you are to hit the exposed ratchet, since 70 is the middle height right now, this is worse than 60 but better than 80.

Bit: Needle

Weight: 2g

• Design: Needle is a Beyblade X bit that features low burst resistance and a sharp cone shape on the bottom of the bit. 

Strengths:

• Tanky KO Resistance: Needle is a unique bit since it sticks to the stadium with a sharp focused point on it. It is able to take strong beatings from whatever is thrown up against it and manage to hold its ground effectively. The effectiveness varies depending on shoot strength. 

Weaknesses:

• Stamina Risk: Since this is a defense bit the focus is pure defense rather than stamina, so it is possible if you somehow screw up the launch to get bullied and outspun by attackers or go up against a stamina combo and be outspun. 

• Burst Risk: Due to being a bit with 20 in burst resistance there is a potential risk to use as it has lower resistance than Balance and Attack bits. This is not the end all be all just something to consider. 

Gameplan:

• Somewhat tilted angle shoot and hold: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a slight angle and hold the Beyblade on to the corner of where you are to lead into the middle to get those big hits without being knocked out. 

• Be aware of the top corners on the opposite side of where the Xtreme Finish is: Aim to try to KO with your movement.
