Shark Edge 3-60LF
BX-14
PRIZE BEYBLADE
Weight: 34g (LOW END) - 35g (HIGH END)
Design: A two sided sloped blade that extends down with large fins that extend up.
Uses a variety of attack potential: Capable of both strong upper attack (launching Beyblades into the air) and smash attack (sending Beyblades into pockets).
Attack VS Attack performance: In an attack vs. attack (AVA) matchup, SharkEdge can do alright, the issue that it has is the stamina it has and strong hits can either make or break for the match.
Attack VS Defense/Stamina: SharkEdge will certainly be your go-to if you want to nuke your opponent with a strong and powerful hit. It has a solid chance to either burst them due to the upper part of the blade making contact to hit the ratchet when it tilts, or knocking out the opponent with its attacks.
SharkEdge on Stamina/Defense: If you want SharkEdge to be a silent killer with the ability to potentially defeat your opponent with standing still and strong hits, it is possible to do so. The tradeoff of hoping it can win like that will be up to you.
Strengths:
Explosive Critical Hits: SharkEdge whether worn or mint can do VERY strong last minute KOs and strong hits to burst or to have your opponent knocked out in the end.
Weaknesses:
Low Stamina: Fast and aggressive but has low stamina, depleting quickly over time.
Negative Recoil: However, it is susceptible to recoil, which can lead to rapid stamina depletion or failure to KO the opponent when used for attack combinations. An example can be if a blade just counters it too well like PhoenixWing the recoil can work against itself and it can lose via being KO'd (Over Finish) or Spin Finish via stamina loss.
Glass Cannon: While it hits extremely hard, it also has no stamina, making it vulnerable if it doesn’t win early.
Overall: Shark Edge is a blade that is very explosive and solid for sniping ratchets, if one wants a hard hitting attacker then Shark Edge is a welcome addition to anyones collection.
Gameplan: On setups with low height on any aggressive bit that can get speed, like Flat Taper, you must hard launch and aim to defeat your opponent quickly.
Combos:
Attack: SharkEdge 3-60/4-60/5-60/9-60 /7-60 Point/Flat/Low Flat/Taper/Rush/Low Rush
Stamina:SharkEdge 3-60/4-60/5-60/9-60 Ball/ Orb / Free Ball
Defense: SharkEdge 3-60/4-60/5-60/9-60 Needle/HighNeedle/Under Needle
Weight: 6.30g (LOW END) - 6.40g (HIGH END)
Design: 3-60 is a ratchet that has 3 sides and a low height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 3 wide points.
Three sides with wider hit points: The Ratchet has three sides with wider contact points compared to a four-sided design. Despite being wider and should be more easier to hit, this is not the case due it being rounded off.
Low Height: It is one of the lowest height ratchets, making it a great use for attack combinations or other low height setups depending on context.
Weakness:
Tightness Variation: Generally 3-60's have not been uber tight for the low height, so while this doesn't matter too much even if 4 sides can be tighter.
Weight: 2.1g
Design: The LowFlat is 1mm shorter than the regular flat and doesn't have the hole in the middle that the regular flat does. Because of these factors, it is able to move a bit faster than the regular flat and not have nearly as much stamina.
Strengths:
Great attack bit for Beyblade X: The Flat Bit is well-suited for aggressive playstyles and can be effective in offensive strategies.
Uses the Xtreme Dash gimmick easily: The Bit works well with the Xtreme Dash performance tip, allowing for high speed and KO potential.
Able to pick up strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: This bit has 80 Stats in Burst resistance, which makes it great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Low stamina: The Bit may not be ideal for battles that require endurance, as it lacks stamina. Stamina is important for outlasting opponents in long battles. In the context of a battle, if you get your hits at the start and don't miss, you have nothing to worry about. It is basically the same issue with Flat, just even more.
Vulnerability to self-KO: If the Bit is hard-launched and catches the stadium path, it can self-KO, which is a potential weakness. Control and technique are essential when using this Bit. Due to it being super fast now and the modified design, this is even more of an issue.
Gameplan:
Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
With Low Flat: It has a lot of speed and power, but stamina won't be there since it does have a slight advantage
Overall: Low Flat has a considerable improvement over regular flat for attack power and speed but has less stamina, due to it improving some blades that need fast hits to win it is a must have for any attack combo.
Overall
SharkEdge offers insane impact with its strong hits and the ability to easily target ratchets with its top part of contact, while it can still be hurt by its power it is still a must have if you want a strong attacker.
