Knife Shinobi 4-60LF METAL COAT BLUE
BX-00
Blade: Shinobi Knife Metal Coat Blue
Weight: 30.6g (LOW END) - 30.8g (HIGH END)
Design: Shinobi Knife is a blade that features 4 focused points with a smooth jagged shape. Variant/Echo: Shinobi Knife is a Variant/Echo of Rhino Horn with the only difference being it is slightly more rounded off in its shape.
Attack VS Attack: Shinobi is a game of who wants to defeat who first in the first few seconds. Since Shinobi has no endgame stamina, it is highly encouraged that Shinobi Knife win fast, or it will lose via being outspun or a spin finish. Since Shinobi Knife has a bit of a slope it has slightly better attack.
Defence VS Attack: Shinobi Knife suffers from recoil release, so it is not suited for defence combos. The recoil can harm Shinobi causing it to self-destruct in battle.
Strengths:
Decent Hits: Shinobi Knife similar to Rhino Horn is best used on 1-60's Ratchet to maximize the attack potential to do strong hits that can get an Xtreme Finish or KO.
Weaknesses:
Poor Stamina: Shinobi Knife is an angry attacker with not that much steam on it. If you can't get your hits in, you are really in trouble.
Gap: Shinobi, like any Beyblade with a gap, is more susceptible to a Burst. It is highly recommended to ONLY use Shinobi on 60 or lower heights.
Recoil Release: Like other certain blades, due to its heavy recoil, the blade can cause the ratchet to release the bit, causing you to lose to a burst.
Gameplan: Low Height attack setups with the goal to defeat the opponent right away.
Overall: Shinobi Knife is a blade that is hard to get consistent but is best used for attack due to the slope that it has. It is best for collection instead of trying to run for competitive since the skill required is high to get it consistent.
Combos:
Attack: Shinobi Knife 1-60 LF / A / R / LR
Weight: 6.4g
Design: 4-60 is a ratchet that has 4 sides and a low height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 4 small points.
No real difference in consistent stamina: There doesn't seem to be a significant difference in stamina performance between the three-sided and four-sided versions of the Ratchet. Though this varies on combo to combo and should absolutely get tested if you are to try anything at all.
Strengths:
Low Height: It is one of the lowest height ratchets, making it a great use for attack combinations or other low height setups depending on context.
Weakness:
Four sides with smaller hit points: The Ratchet has four sides with small square contact points compared to a three-sided design. Despite having smaller hit points than three sides it actually makes it easier to hit since it is not as rounded off meshed onto the ratchet.
Overall: 4-60 is OK but not too preferred compared to other more recent ratchets, while there might be some stamina advantage that should be tested combo to combo as there is potential burst risk, as such it is a welcome addition but not a must have if you obtain it.
Weight: 2.1g
Design: The LowFlat is 1mm shorter than the regular flat and doesn't have the hole in the middle that the regular flat does. Because of these factors, it is able to move a bit faster than the regular flat and not have nearly as much stamina.
Strengths:
Great attack bit for Beyblade X: The Flat Bit is well-suited for aggressive playstyles and can be effective in offensive strategies.
Uses the Xtreme Dash gimmick easily: The Bit works well with the Xtreme Dash performance tip, allowing for high speed and KO potential.
Able to pick up strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: This bit has 80 Stats in Burst resistance, which makes it great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Low stamina: The Bit may not be ideal for battles that require endurance, as it lacks stamina. Stamina is important for outlasting opponents in long battles. In the context of a battle, if you get your hits at the start and don't miss, you have nothing to worry about. It is basically the same issue with Flat, just even more.
Vulnerability to self-KO: If the Bit is hard-launched and catches the stadium path, it can self-KO, which is a potential weakness. Control and technique are essential when using this Bit. Due to it being super fast now and the modified design, this is even more of an issue.
Gameplan:
Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
With Low Flat: It has a lot of speed and power, but stamina won't be there since it does have a slight advantage
Overall: Low Flat has a considerable improvement over regular flat for attack power and speed but has less stamina, due to it improving some blades that need fast hits to win it is a must have for any attack combo.
Overall
Shinobi does not offer much value other than being more of a collectors item, while Low Flat is nice you shouldn't really get this outside of just wanting a cool looking release.
