Samurai Saber 2-70L
UX-09
Weight: 36.2g (LOW END) - 36.5g (HIGH END)
Design: Samurai Saber is a round shape with two metal flaps that protrude out at the start of battle. It features two modes at the start it features multi hit with the flaps out and at the end of battle once it goes in it becomes one hit kill mode.
Attack VS Attack performance: In AVA battles, Samurai Saber performs decently, able to meet opponents with similar force and generally outlast them. However, the small metal flaps that extend outward provide no real benefit, making them ineffective as a gimmick.
Stamina vs. Stamina: Samurai Saber has passable stamina, but its floppy wings tend to reduce its endurance rather than contribute to performance. However, it can destabilize opponents, so tilt launching is highly recommended for stamina setups to maximize its effectiveness.
Attack VS Defense/Stamina: Samurai Saber is a unique attack blade that requires a hard tilt launch for optimal performance. It lacks strong smash attack potential, relying more on upper attack. While it can be effective when making contact at the right slope, it isn’t the most consistent in this role. That said, it still does a solid enough job when used correctly.
Strengths:
Solid balance type potential: Samurai Saber offers potential in all types of Beyblade making it a versatile blade.
Weaknesses:
Attack Wings: Samurai Saber's attack wings get in the way in battle causing it to very easily lose stamina and doing nothing to help it overall.
Overall: If you're looking for a blade with decent attack, defense, and stamina potential, Samurai Saber is a solid addition to your collection. While it doesn't particularly excel in any one area, it is consistent and reliable.
Gameplan: To get the best results with Samurai Saber, always use a tilt launch to help destabilize opponents. A well-executed launch gives it a decent chance in battle.
Combos:
Attack: Samurai Saber 3-60 / 5-60 / 1-60 / 7-60 | LR / R / P
Defense: Samurai Saber 5-60 / 7-60 | H
Stamina: Samurai Saber 3-60 / 5-60 / 9-60 | TP (Used for low-height stamina to destabilize opponents.)
Weight: 6.3g
Design: 2-70 is a Ratchet that has two wide square contact points and at middle height.
Strengths:
Impact: The large contact points can occasionally deliver massive hits.
Weakness:
Stamina: The 2-70 is off-balance, leading to constant wobbling that wastes stamina during battle.
Failure to Maintain X Dash: It struggles to maintain a consistent pattern in the stadium, which can disrupt the Xtreme Dash and cause it to slam against walls.
Burst Risk: Due to its wide square contact points, the 2-70 ratchet is prone to bursting. The high likelihood of making contact and triggering an explosion makes it vulnerable to wall collisions or even self-bursting in a pocket, rendering it less reliable in battle.
Overall: While there may be some situational benefits, you're better off using other 60-height ratchets like 3, 4, 5, or 9 sides for competitive play. This ratchet is better suited for collection rather than competitive use.
Weight: 2.6g
Design: Level is an attack-focused Bit with a unique design featuring three acceleration levels outer, middle, and inner each influencing its speed. Its large circular shape contributes to good in-game stamina, while its 16 gears help it accelerate along the Xtreme Rails. Additionally, it boasts an 80 Burst Resistance stat, making it highly resistant to bursting.
Strengths:
Solid attack bit for Beyblade X: : Level is a solid attack bit designed for aggressive setups, providing strong KO potential with a lot of end game stamina.
Focused On Xtreme Dash gimmick: The Bit is somewhat consistent with the Xtreme Dash to be able to pick up high speeds and KO
Able to pick up strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: Due to being a Bit with a 80 Stats in Burst resistance this makes this bit great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent path followed: Level has the issue where it can't like follow the path properly sometimes and it bounces around the Xtreme Rail in some battles.
Vulnerability to self-KO: If the Bit is hard-launched and catches the stadium path, it can self-KO, which is a potential weakness. Control and technique are important when using this Bit.
Gameplan:
Tilt Launch: Tilt Level to get the maximum use and potential out of the bit to not self KO.
Overall: Level is a solid attack bit that has a great amount of stamina, it is a must have if one is running attack/balance combinations.
Overall
Samurai Saber comes with the Hold Launcher, which provides a strong launch, making it a great choice for newer players. While the included 2-70 bit is not ideal, the overall package is worth the pickup for those interested in adding Samurai Saber to their setup.
