Impact Drake 9-60LR
UX-11
Weight: 38.5g (LOW END) - 39.2g (HIGH END)
Design: Impact Drake is four sided attack blade with large metal contacts that in the lower section features rubber exposed contacts.
Attack VS Attack performance: Impact Drake performs well in attack vs. attack battles, but it comes at a cost. It hits hard, but its stamina drains quickly. Your best strategy is to match or exceed your opponent’s launch power—if you go in with a weak launch, you risk losing because the rubber parts will drag it down instead of helping.
Attack vs. Defense/Stamina: Impact Drake is one of the hardest-hitting attack blades, making it strong against defense and stamina types. However, it burns out quickly, so you must go all-in at the start.
Stamina/Defense vs. Attack: Unlike Cobalt Drake, which had some defensive capability due to its shape, Impact Drake is not a consistent defensive option. While it theoretically could work in defense, its lack of stamina makes it unreliable.
Strengths:
Weight: One of the heaviest blades in Beyblade X that can have an advantage in Battle.
Smash & Upper Attack: Impact Drake excels in attack power, capable of launching opponents into the air, knocking them forward, or even sniping them with the Ratchet due to its low-height contact points.
Weaknesses:
Low Stamina: Due to its very aggressive and unbalanced nature, Dran Buster requires to be launched at a very high RPM to be consistent; otherwise, you will suffer greatly in stamina. Beyond that, its general stamina is not high. It is the purest form of an attack type.
Top Heavy: Due to the shape and design, this Beyblade will naturally, as the battle gets closer to the end, fall down because of where the weight is distributed.
Glass Cannon: While it hits extremely hard, it also has no stamina, making it vulnerable if it doesn’t win early.
Overall: Impact Drake is a fantastic addition to any collection. It’s super heavy, very strong for attack, and worth picking up if you want one of the hardest-hitting attack blades available.
Gameplan: Use low-height attack combinations and launch with full force at the start. If using taller-height setups, aim to destabilize the opponent with a slight downward tilt launch.
Combos:
Attack: Impact Drake 1-60 | 7-60 | 5-60 | 7-70 | 7-80 | R/LR/P/T
Weight: 6.2g
Design: 9-60 is a ratchet that has 9 sides and a low height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 9 filled out points.
Stamina: It is as good as 5-60 and good compared to other other ratchets.
Burst Resistance: It has the best resistance as it is incredibly hard to hit being small and rounded off.
Low Height: It is one of the lowest height ratchets, making it a great use for attack combinations or other low height setups depending on context.
Weight: 1.9g
Design: Low Rush is a small flat bit that features an elevated gear focused on the Xtreme line and has a Burst resistance stat of 80, offering high durability. It is 1mm shorter than regular Rush, but otherwise, the design and function are very similar.
Strengths:
BEST attack bit for Beyblade X: Since Low Rush is focused on the Xtreme Line and does so consistently it is the best attack bit as it allows for good speed and control in the Xtreme Stadium.
Good Stamina: Since this bit doesn't really waste time in battle it is pretty effective as an attack bit to do the job that is needed.
Able to pick up strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: Due to being a Bit with an 80 Stats in Burst resistance this makes this bit great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Wear: With how this bit is designed you might end up having this wear and being slightly less consistent than mint, this does not greatly affect gameplay but can get pretty annoying over time due to a poor design by Takara Tomy.
Low stamina: Even though we mentioned good stamina, if this thing wears a lot it can lead to failure to use the Xtreme Line sometimes which can cause a depletion in stamina.
Gameplan:
Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
In the case of Low Rush: you want to decide if you tilt or do a flat launch since if you do flat you will do repeated Xtreme Dash movement, or if you do tilt it could work against certain opponents to counter and defeat them.
Overall: Low Rush is functionally the same as regular Rush, with the only difference being its 1mm shorter height. Rush remains one of the most consistent attack bits, allowing for reliable Xtreme Rushes. While its endgame stamina could be questionable, the positives far outweigh the negatives, making it a must-have for any Blader's collection.
Overall
Dran Buster overall is an extremely solid pick up it features a good low height ratchet, a great aggressive bit and a solid attacking blade, it comes with all around solid to decent parts, if you want an attacker that can do massive impact in battle this is the one to get!
