Weight: 34.9g (LOW END) - 35.7g (HIGH END)
Design: DranDagger is a 6 bladed attack blade that features 6 somewhat sharp flat blade.
Barrage Attack: Technically, DranDagger just has a smash attack, but none of the hits are really that strong, so I am inclined to believe this is technically as close as possible to this gimmick working.
Attack VS Attack: In an attack versus an attack matchup, DranDagger features some pretty unique properties. It's able to deflect an attacker a lot of times just because of its shape, making it pretty useful in attack-versus-attack matchups. It's able to not only meet the attacks but even force their own energy against themselves.
Stamina VS Attack: While it is possible to be fine on Ball combos it is not recommended as it doesn't feature the same offensive properties as DranSword to be used in any combination.
Defence VS Attack: Once again, because the shape greatly varies from DranSword, which is only ever used in stamina or defense combos because the worn shape is rounded off but still has recoil, it is not recommended to have DranDagger in any setup like this.
Strengths:
Deflection: DranDagger can sometimes deflect things thrown at it, making it very useful for getting solid KOs.
Stamina: DranDagger's shape allows it to just have solid stamina for an attack type.
Weaknesses:
Barrage Failure? Sometimes, DranDagger can repeatedly hit something and not budge, depleting stamina and causing it to have no good, hard-hitting endgame properties some rounds.
Overall: Due to the repeat attack it can do and solid hits it offers the blade has good use, it is best paired with 5-60 to overall support the blade and allow it to be as best as possible it can be.
Gameplan: On setups with low height on any aggressive bit that can get speed, like Flat Taper, you must hard launch and aim to defeat your opponent quickly.
Combos:
Attack: DranDagger 5-60/9-60/3-60 Rush/Taper/Flat/Accel
Weight: 6.4g
Design: 4-60 is a ratchet that has 4 sides and a low height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 4 small points.
No real difference in consistent stamina: There doesn't seem to be a significant difference in stamina performance between the three-sided and four-sided versions of the Ratchet. Though this varies on combo to combo and should absolutely get tested if you are to try anything at all.
Strengths:
Low Height: It is one of the lowest height ratchets, making it a great use for attack combinations or other low height setups depending on context.
Weakness:
Four sides with smaller hit points: The Ratchet has four sides with small square contact points compared to a three-sided design. Despite having smaller hit points than three sides it actually makes it easier to hit since it is not as rounded off meshed onto the ratchet.
Weight: 2.1g
Design: Rush is a small flat but that features an elevated gear focused for the Xtreme line and features a stat of 80 for high Burst resistance.
Strengths:
BEST attack bit for Beyblade X: Since Rush is focused on the Xtreme Line and does so consistently it is the best attack bit as it allows for good speed and control in the Xtreme Stadium.
Good Stamina: Since this bit doesn't really waste time in battle it is pretty effective as an attack bit to do the job that is needed.
Able to pick up strong speeds and KO: The Bit excels in achieving high rotational speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents from the stadium.
Burst Resistance: Due to being a Bit with an 80 Stats in Burst resistance this makes this bit great to use due to minimal Burst risk.
Weaknesses:
Wear: With how this bit is designed you might end up having this wear and being slightly less consistent than mint, this does not greatly affect gameplay but can get pretty annoying over time due to a poor design by Takara Tomy.
Low stamina: Even though we mentioned good stamina, if this thing wears a lot it can lead to failure to use the Xtreme Line sometimes which can cause a depletion in stamina.
Gameplan:
Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
In the case of Rush: you want to decide if you tilt or do a flat launch since if you do flat you will do repeated Xtreme Dash movement, or if you do tilt it could work against certain opponents to counter and defeat them.
Overall
DranDagger is a great attack blade that hits good and offers solid stamina for being an attacker, it is a must-have for any bladers collection. With the combination of Rush on this release, the stock combo is very optimal and offers itself to be a must-have for any bladers getting an attack release!
