• Design: A two sided sloped blade that extends down with large fins that extend up. 

• Uses a variety of attack potential: Capable of both strong upper attack (launching Beyblades into the air) and smash attack (sending Beyblades into pockets). 

•  Attack VS Attack performance: In an attack vs. attack (AVA) matchup, SharkEdge can do alright, the issue that it has is the stamina it has and strong hits can either make or break for the match.

• Attack VS Defense/Stamina: SharkEdge will certainly be your go-to if you want to nuke your opponent with a strong and powerful hit. It has a solid chance to either burst them due to the upper part of the blade making contact to hit the ratchet when it tilts, or knocking out the opponent with its attacks.

• SharkEdge on Stamina/Defense: If you want SharkEdge to be a silent killer with the ability to potentially defeat your opponent with standing still and strong hits, it is possible to do so. The tradeoff of hoping it can win like that will be up to you.

Strengths: 

• Weight: SharkEdge has a good weight for being an attack blade.

• Explosive Critical Hits: SharkEdge whether worn or mint can do VERY strong last minute KOs and strong hits to burst or to have your opponent knocked out in the end.

Weaknesses:

• Low Stamina: Fast and aggressive but has low stamina, depleting quickly over time.

• Negative Recoil: However, it is susceptible to recoil, which can lead to rapid stamina depletion or failure to KO the opponent when used for attack combinations. An example can be if a blade just counters it too well like PhoenixWing the recoil can work against itself and it can lose via being KO'd (Over Finish) or Spin Finish via stamina loss.

Overall: Due to heavy weight and shape this is a must-have for any collector it is an extremely good attacker.

Gameplan: On setups with low height on any aggressive bit that can get speed, like Flat Taper, you must hard launch and aim to defeat your opponent quickly.

• Design: 5-60 is a ratchet that has 5 sides and a low height, the contact areas for the ratchet are 5 somewhat wide points.

Strengths: 

• Stamina: Generally due to the shape and its OWD (outwards weight distribution) it can have greater stamina than other ratchets giving Beyblades more balance.

• Defense: Due to being 5 sided and thick, this ratchet has some of the best defense out of all the ratchets and only really is worse than 9 sides due to how 9 sides is exposed. 

• Low Height: It is one of the lowest height ratchets, making it a great use for attack combinations or other low height setups depending on context.

Bit: Gear Flat

Weight: 2.3g

• Design: GearFlat is a variant of regular Flat that has a jaggy gear shape to it and features an indent on there. GearFlat features a stat of 80 for high Burst resistance. 

Strengths:

• Maximum pure attack bit for Beyblade X: GearFlat is a bit that has maximum attack potential as it is currently as of Jan 2023 the fastest bit right now.

• Xtreme Dash: Like any gear variant right now, GearFlat is focused on doing the Xtreme Line to be able to KO and or Xtreme Finish their opponent.

• Burst Resistance: Due to being a Bit with a 80 Stats in Burst resistance this makes this bit great  to use due to minimal Burst risk.

Weaknesses:

• Low stamina: A bit this fast will deplete stamina extremely fast be very weary of how strong you shoot.

• Vulnerability to self-KO: As mentioned on other flat bits, if you hard launch you can easily self KO or if you don't angle right can force yourself to self Xtreme out. Alternatively you could get lucky and Xtreme your opponent out of there but the likely hood of that is not that good.

Gameplan:

• Flat launch or a somewhat tilted angle shoot: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you can employ a flat launch or a slight angle to utilize the stadium's gimmicks and aim for knockouts.
