Wyvern Gale 0-80C
UX-12 06
Weight: 31.9 (LOW END) - 32.2g (HIGH END)
Design: Wyvern Gale is a four-sided blade with a smooth surface and sharp edges.
Attack VS Attack: If you plan to use WyvernGale against other attackers it has properties to do decent destabilization to out spin and win. However, be mindful that it has a gap that can get in the way of the performance, causing it to burst and lose.
Stamina VS Attack: WyvernGale if it is used on a 9-60 ratchet or a 5-60 ratchet will do pretty exceptional being able to either tank or potentially to destabilize the attacker. WyvernGale has properties similar to KnightShield, where it can fly around the stadium. This can allow Wyvern to outspin its opponents or get KOd and perish, there is no real in-between.
Defence VS Attack: Similarly, Wyvern could be used for defence, although any BEYBLADE that can target ratchets like SharkEdge should be approached with caution; otherwise, you will lose.
Strengths:
Stamina: Wyvern has very high stamina and is able to destabilize opponents so even if a Blade could potentially be better than it, it can luck out by using hard recoil from the blade to destabilize them and win.
Sharp Blade: There can be random times when Wyvern could cut an opponent forcing them to Burst or get KO'd.
Weaknesses:
Gap: Wyvern like any Beyblade with a gap is more susceptible to a Burst, it is highly recommended to ONLY use Wyvern on 60 or lower heights.
Weight: The blade has low weight and has awkward weight distribution.
Recoil Release: Like other certain blades due to the fact it has heavy recoil the blade can cause the ratchet to release the bit causing yourself to lose to a burst.
Gameplan: On setups with low height on any aggressive bit that can get speed, like Flat Taper, you must hard launch and aim to defeat your opponent quickly.
Combos:
Attack: Wyvern Gale 9-60/5-60/3-60 Rush/Taper
Stamina: Wyvern Gale 9-60/5-60/ Ball/Orb/Glide
Defense: Wyvern Gale 9-60 / 5-60 Needle/HighNeedle
Weight: 7.1g
Design: 0-80 is a three-sided Ratchet with thin contact points. While not literally zero-sided, its thinness results in three broad, square-like impact areas.
No real difference in consistent stamina: You would need to balance tune to see if it matters or not compared to other sides like 5 sides or 9 sides, this is up to Blader since it is a case-by-case basis.
Strengths:
Three sides with wider hit points: The Ratchet has wider contact points compared to a four-sided design. Although it is wider and should be easier to hit, in reality, three sides make less contact to cause a burst since they are more rounded off.
Weakness:
Tall Height: It is important to note that being tall in the case of 3-80 does not mean pure weakness however it means to be careful how you launch. While 3-80's generally are tighter than 3-60's or even 4-60's/80's keep mindful of how you shoot with this.
Burst Weakness: If 0-80 makes contact with extreme rails, self-destruction is likely, making precise control necessary.
Overall: 0-80 is a solid tall ratchet that has good stability and balance, while it is not invincible it is a welcome addition to anyones collection.
Weight: 2.1g
Design: Cyclone is a bit with a curved star-shaped pattern and an 80 stat in Burst resistance, making it highly resistant to bursting.
Strengths:
High Speed and KO Potential: Cyclone can pick up fast speeds, making it proficient at knocking out opponents or delivering strong hits that lead to bursts.
Control: Cyclone is similar to Rush Bit, which has good aggression and a lot of control in the stadium.
Burst Resistance: With its high Burst resistance stat, Cyclone is excellent for minimizing the risk of bursting.
Weaknesses:
Vulnerability to Self-KO: If hard-launched and it catches the stadium's path, Cyclone can self-KO. Proper control and technique are crucial when using this bit. Its movement can be inconsistent, but with practice, this can be managed.
Gameplan:
Flat Launch: To maximize the effectiveness of this Bit, you must do a flat launch as you waste too much stamina trying to tilt as the shape of the bit works against itself tilted.
Overall:
Cyclone offers more benefits than a regular Flat Bit due to its speed and attack power while also providing similar control to the Rush Bit, making it a strong choice for those looking to balance control and aggression.
Overall
Wizard Rod has set the new benchmark as of May 2024 to test for stamina it beats across the board all other options when used on stamina combinations like on Ball/Orb/Disc Ball. It can used effectively in defence combinations, has some weird KO resistance on the Ball, and get saved from Bursting due to the weight. In Attack VS Attack it can outlast attackers via pure stamina. 5-70 is a solid height to use for defence combinations or to use on other combinations such as Point or even alright with Ball combinations. Disc Ball has a glaring big weakness but does have the purest raw stamina out of all current bits. This release is a MUST-HAVE to compete in the current meta of Beyblade X.
